Government & Law-Enforcement Request Policy

Hubroot respects user privacy while complying with binding legal obligations. We review government and law-enforcement requests for user information for apparent legal validity, scope, jurisdiction, and authority.

We seek to disclose only information reasonably required by valid and binding legal process.

We may challenge, narrow, or reject requests that appear invalid, overbroad, disproportionate, or outside the requesting authority's lawful jurisdiction where legally permitted.

We may notify affected users or customers before disclosure unless prohibited by law, court order, emergency circumstances, or a legitimate risk of harm.

Emergency requests involving imminent risk of death or serious physical harm are evaluated individually and may be addressed where disclosure is lawful and reasonably necessary.

We preserve information when legally required by a valid preservation request or other binding obligation.

Nothing in this policy gives a workspace administrator a general right to obtain another user's private messages.
