United States Privacy Notice
This United States Privacy Notice supplements the Skkrum Privacy Policy for U.S. residents. State privacy rights apply only where the relevant law covers Hubroot's processing and the individual or data at issue.
Categories of Personal Information
Skkrum may process identifiers and contact information; account/profile information; commercial and subscription information; internet, device, security, and usage information; communications and collaboration content; professional or employment-related information supplied through business use; and inferences or derived information needed for security, analytics, and service improvement.
Purposes
We use personal information to provide and secure Skkrum, process subscriptions, support users, maintain and improve the Service, detect fraud and abuse, comply with law, and provide optional AI functionality.
Sale, Sharing and Targeted Advertising
Hubroot does not intend to sell personal information for money. We use Google Analytics on our website. If our use of analytics, advertising technologies, or other disclosures constitutes a "sale," "sharing," or targeted advertising under an applicable U.S. state privacy law, we will provide the legally required notice and opt-out mechanism, including recognition of legally required preference signals where applicable.
U.S. State Privacy Rights
Where applicable, residents may have rights to confirm processing or know/access personal information, obtain a copy, correct inaccuracies, delete personal information, opt out of sale, targeted advertising or certain profiling, limit certain uses of sensitive data, and appeal a denied request. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.
Delaware
Where the Delaware Personal Data Privacy Act applies, eligible Delaware consumers may exercise applicable rights to access, correct, delete, obtain a copy of personal data, and opt out of qualifying sale, targeted advertising, or profiling. Hubroot will respond within the legally required period and provide an appeal process where required.
California
Where the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, applies to Hubroot, California residents may have rights to know/access, delete, correct, opt out of sale or sharing, limit certain uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information, and receive non-discriminatory treatment. If Hubroot becomes subject to specific California notice or request-method requirements, those methods will be made available through the Privacy Policy and/or account interface.
Other States
Residents of other U.S. states with applicable comprehensive privacy laws will receive the rights and protections required by the law that applies to them. Hubroot may use a unified privacy-request process to satisfy substantially similar state rights.
U.S. Data Breach Laws
Hubroot responds to security incidents under applicable federal and state law. Because U.S. breach-notification rules vary by state and by the information and circumstances involved, Hubroot applies the notification requirements relevant to affected individuals rather than a single nationwide deadline.
